Enabled by advances in technology, our world is shrinking. More and more jobs are not attached to physical location, and this allows many people to embrace a nomadic lifestyle. Globally, more people live in urban areas than in rural areas, by 2050, 66 per cent of the world’s population is projected to be urban. At a same time some people are making a switch to slower, calmer, and in many ways better lifestyle in countryside.
Sydne and Herman are two young people from different parts of the world. They met in London, and few years later they became a family. They settled in a small village in the Estonian island, and now have 3 children. Low footprint, ecological lifestyle is a very prominent part of their rather modest life. Their days are filled with simple joys of playing, books, and music. Renovating their house, and growing their own vegetables while dealing with three time consuming toddlers is not always easy but it is rewarding.
