Salt of the earth
There are no holidays, or days off for people who run a farm with animals. At the same time farm life does not get dull and living on a farm is easy. Not physically, but it is easier on the mind than a city job behind a desk. Daily and seasonal routine, dealing with animals, local food, lots of fresh air and beauty of nature are calming and soothing for a spirit. There are long, exhausting days of nonstop hard work and there are also slow days for fun and family.
