(di)Stilled life

It always makes me sentimental when I realise that things usually last longer than people. Often so much longer that there are nobody around any more to remember the story of these things.

This picture is taken in old derelict soviet farm’s central workshop where my husbands long gone uncle worked his entire life. The place is now abandoned and nobody wants or needs it, but it still retains some of the feeling of its past days.
